Blaine Hargett
March 8, 1962 — June 5, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Blaine Hargett on June 5, 2026, at the age of 64. Born on March 8, 1962, in the heart of North Carolina, Blaine brought light and laughter into the world, a light that will continue to shine in the hearts of those who knew him.
Blaine was the cherished son of Beddie and Gilbert Hargett, who preceded him in death. He is lovingly remembered by his five siblings: Clayton, Phyllis, Karen, Paula, and Leah, who have been touched deeply by his generous spirit and unwavering loyalty. His love and influence extend to his 16 nieces and nephews, along with 12 great-nieces and nephews, who all carry forward his legacy of joy and kindness.
A man of many passions, Blaine found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved riding bikes, feeling the wind on his face as he pedaled through the scenic routes of his beloved North Carolina. His evenings were often spent in the company of family and friends, gathered around a table, playing cards, and sharing laughter. Blaine had an innate ability to uplift those around him, always ready with a joke or a humorous quip to bring a smile to our faces. His humor was infectious, a true testament to his love for life and his desire to bring happiness to others.
Blaine’s life was a testament to the care and devotion he showed to his loved ones. He was a cornerstone of support and strength, never hesitating to offer a helping hand or a listening ear. His presence was a source of comfort and his absence leaves a void that can never truly be filled.
A service to honor and celebrate Blaine’s life will be held on June 18, 2026, at 121 Park Ave, Park Ave Funeral Home. Family, friends, and all whose lives Blaine touched are invited to join us in remembering a life well-lived and a soul well-loved.
In this time of sorrow, the family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone for the outpouring of love and support they have received. Your kindness and compassion have been a source of comfort during this difficult time, and for this, we are eternally grateful.
