In Loving Memory

Bishop Mae Dee Anderson

It is with a heavy heart and profound gratitude for a life well-lived that I announce the passing of My Mother, Pastor Mae Dee Anderson. Pastor Mae was called to her eternal home on
April 20, 2026, at the age of 85.
Pastor Mae peacefully transitioned while surrounded by the warmth and love of her family at home in Las Vegas Nevada.
Born on August 24, 1940 in Houston Texas, Mae was the beloved daughter of Otho and Arthur Lee Lehman. From a young age, Mae’s life was marked by a profound sense of purpose and an unyielding devotion to her faith, family, and community.
Pastor Mae was blessed with a loving partner in her husband, Earnest Anderson. Together they cultivated a beautiful family, cherishing seven children: Daniel Anderson, Micah Anderson, Rachel Anderson, James Anderson, Aaron Anderson, Yvonne Anderson, and Yvette Anderson.
Preceding her in death were her parents Otho and Aurthor Lee Lehman her sister Arvis Donaldson, her grandmother Priscilla Walker, Her children: James Anderson, Aaron Anderson, and Daniel Anderson and Grandchildren: Christopher Du Shaun Anderson and Terrence Earl Williams.
Pastor Mae’s legacy is carried on by her surviving children, Micah Anderson, Rachel Raquel Anderson, Yvonne Anderson and Yvette Anderson and a host of grandchildren
A woman of remarkable intellect and dedication, Mae pursued studies in theology and nursing, committing over 40 years to the nursing profession. Her exceptional bedside care and meticulous attention to documentation left an indelible mark on the lives of patients, families, and colleagues alike.
Pastor Mae, as she was affectionately known, devoted her life to the service of others. Her ministry was far-reaching, with her faithfulness evident in her work at Universal Tabernacle, Hope Tabernacle, Faith Ministries, and First United Church of Christ spiritual among others. She was a beacon of love and compassion, touching countless lives with her unwavering devotion to God and humanity.
Her love for life extended beyond her professional and ministerial commitments. Pastor Mae cherished the outdoors and found joy in simple pleasures, such as bowling. Her heart for service was evident in her visits to long-term care facilities, where she offered prayer, comfort, and hope to the elderly. Her commitment to spreading God’s word was further demonstrated through her jail ministry, where she ministered to inmates with compassion and grace. Additionally, her radio ministry brought gospel music and inspiration into the homes of many, uplifting spirits and spreading faith.
Pastor Mae’s life was a testament to her strong faith, love, and resilience. Her unwavering belief in God’s plan was encapsulated in her oft-repeated words, “Touch not my anointed, and do my prophet no harm.” In times of difficulty, she would remind me, God sees all and God knows all “You just sit back, be quiet, and watch God work.” Her faith was her anchor and she imparted this steadfast trust in God to all who knew her.
As we reflect on pastor Mae’s life, we celebrate a woman who was perpetually giving, consistently praying, and unfailingly present for others. Her impact on this world is immeasurable, and her spirit will continue to inspire those who were blessed to know her.
Krystal: Poem: “All Is Well”
You whispered peace before you left,
A truth your soul could tell
Not fear, not doubt, but quiet faith,
Reminding us, “All is well.”
Through every prayer you ever prayed,
Through every tear you fell,
You planted seeds of strength in us,
Still echoing, “All is well.”
Though we will miss your voice, your ways,
The stories you would tell,
We hold on to your final words
A promise… “All is well.”
So rest now in His perfect peace,
Where joy and mercy dwell,
And we will carry on your light,
Believing… All is well.
Prayer: Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts that are heavy, yet grateful.
Thank You for the life of my grandmother. Thank You for every prayer she prayed, every life she touched, every seed she planted in this family. Thank You for the covering she placed over us, even when we didn’t realize it.
Your Word says in Psalm 34:18 that You are close to the brokenhearted, so we ask that You draw near to us now. Wrap us in Your peace.
Lord, just as she prayed for us, we now pray for her transition. We trust Your promise in Revelation 21:4 that there will be no more pain, no more confusion, no more suffering.
Let her rest in Your presence.
And Lord, help us carry her legacy forward
to pray like she prayed,
to love like she loved,
to trust You the way she did.
Cover this family both individually and collectively daily, just as she asked.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Krystian: Grandma thank you for your love and prayers throughout the years. You instilled the word of God in all of us and taught us the importance of knowing the word and that is something I will carry with me forever. Grandma I will love and miss you always, you were the only grandmother I’ve ever known so it’s very hard to say goodbye but I find peace in knowing you were ready, that you weren’t scared and that you believed, and that you get to be with “Mama” again also I was able to spend your last days with you. I will miss your text message encouraging me and letting me know how proud you are. I LOVE YOU GRANDMO- Krystian
