Bishop Aaron Sabb, who departed this life on September 1, 2026, at the age of 66. Born on September 15, 1959, in Newark, NJ, Aaron was the beloved son of the late Bishop Abraham and Evangelist Sarah Sabb. He was preceded in death by his cherished sister Vanessa Sabb, brother Daniel Sabb, niece Lateira Garcia, and nephew Hyson Sabb.
Aaron's legacy is lovingly carried forward by his devoted daughter Arriel Perry, son Malik Holmes, and bonus daughter Joanne Porter. He is also survived by his sisters, Luvenia Johnson with her husband Arnold J. Johnson, Legretha Wingo, Selena Montgomery and her husband William G. Montgomery, and his brother Christopher (known as Rahboo) Sabb and his wife Trisandra Sabb also mourn his passing, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and grandchildren who will forever cherish his memory.
A proud alumnus of Barringer High School in Newark, Aaron went on to enlist as a member of the US Marine Corps. His sense of duty and commitment to service remained a guiding principle throughout his life.
Aaron was a man of deep faith, founding the Tree of Life Ministries for All Denominations, where he served as pastor. His ministry was a testament to his unwavering belief in sharing his gifts with the world. Known for his melodic voice and charismatic presence, Aaron's ability to touch lives was unparalleled. Whether singing a hymn or offering a prayer, he brought comfort and inspiration to all who met him.
Beyond his spiritual endeavors, Aaron was a self-taught musician and a martial arts enthusiast, achieving the distinguished rank of 7th-degree black belt and becoming an martial arts instructor. His dedication to his passions reflected his lifelong love of learning and personal growth.
Aaron will be remembered for his loving nature and the joy he brought to those around him. He had an extraordinary gift for making others feel cherished and valued, leaving an indelible mark on everyone he encountered.
In our hearts, Bishop Aaron Sabb's spirit will forever sing, his voice a comforting melody in times of sorrow and a joyful tune in moments of celebration. His life was a testament to love, service, and faith, and he will be dearly missed by all who were blessed to know him.
