Billy was the devoted son of Auborn Joseph and Paulline Shepard, who instilled in him the values of kindness, integrity, and hard work that would define his character throughout his life. Known for his unwavering dedication to his family and community, Billy's life was a testament to love, resilience, and the simple joys that fill our days with meaning. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Janice Shepard, who stood by his side through life's many seasons with unwavering love and companionship. Together, they built a legacy of warmth and generosity that will continue to inspire those who knew them. Billy was the proud father of Lance Shepard and Amy Shepard, whose lives are a reflection of the guidance and love he imparted. Billy's legacy is further enriched by his four grandchildren, who brought immense joy and pride into his life, and his three great-grandchildren, who were a source of endless delight and hope for the future. A service to honor and celebrate Billy's remarkable life will be held on February 25, 2017, at 10:00 AM at Ridgecrest Baptist.
