Billy Joe Parton

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Billy Joe Parton, a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. Billy passed away on July 3, 2026, at St. John's Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma, following complications from surgery. He was 83 years old. Billy was born on September 16, 1942, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, to parents Charles and Maudie Parton. He was predeceased by his loving parents, but their spirit and values lived on through Billy's life and the family he cherished. A man of integrity and kindness, Billy's warmth touched everyone he met. His life was a testament to dedication and love, especially towards his cherished family. He is survived by his devoted children: Sarah Pley and husband Jason of Port Alberni, Vancouver Island, British Columbia; Melissa Parton of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and Laura Arrellano and husband Eloy of Grove, Oklahoma. Billy's legacy is further carried by his brother, Jim Parton of Plano, Texas. Billy was a proud grandfather to Zachary Turner of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; Katy Turner of Jenks, Oklahoma; Hayley Arellano of Grove, Oklahoma; Hannah Hesse and Haven Pley of Port Alberni, Vancouver Island, British Columbia. His joy multiplied tenfold with his great-grandchildren, Cash Crandell, Aliza Abdul, and Aliyah Abdul of Jenks, Oklahoma, and Aria Hesse and Ezra Hesse of Port Alberni, Vancouver Island, British Columbia. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who shared their love and friendship with Billy throughout his life.
