August 5, 2025 — May 15, 2026
Billy Grant Kiser, a beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2026, at the age of 72. Born on August 5, 1953, in Dayton, Ohio, Billy was the cherished son of Cubie William Kiser and Daisy Mae Bennett Kiser. He was a beacon of warmth and kindness, known for his infectious smile and genuine desire to make everyone feel welcome and valued.
Billy devoted over 50 years of his life as a foreman at AC Corporation, where he was not only a respected colleague but a friend to all. His dedication to his work was only surpassed by his love for his family and community. Billy had a heart as vast as the ocean he loved to fish, and he was always ready to lend a helping hand, treating neighbors like family.
A man of faith, Billy was a long-standing member of Stoney Ridge Baptist Church, where he found spiritual nourishment and a community that he served with unwavering devotion. His life was a testament to the values of kindness, generosity, and humility.
Billy found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life. An avid fisherman, his heart was happiest at Kure Beach, his favorite fishing spot. He had a passion for cultivating his vegetable garden, sharing its bounty with neighbors and those in need, embodying the spirit of giving that defined his life. Billy's love for the outdoors was evident in his enjoyment of cutting timber, mowing the lawn, and delighting in the company of the birds he so carefully fed.
Billy is predeceased by his parents, his infant son William Grant Kiser, his father-in-law Winfred "Wimp" Roberts, his mother-in-law Sarah Roberts, and his sister-in-law Karel Jean Roberts. While his absence leaves a profound void, his legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire those who knew him.
A service to honor Billy’s life will be held on May 18, 2026, at Stoney Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery, located at 1030 Stoney Ridge Road, Westfield, NC. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the Stoney Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery Fund or Trellis Supportive Care, whose staff provided compassionate care to Billy in his final days.
The Kiser family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated team at Trellis Supportive Care for their unwavering support and care during Billy's end-of-life journey. Billy's spirit will forever be a guiding light for those who were fortunate enough to know him, and his memory will be cherished in the hearts of many.
