In Loving Memory

Bill Frazer
April 19, 1952 — March 31, 2026
It is with deep sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Bill Frazer, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, who left this world on March 31, 2026, at the age of 73. Born on April 19, 1952, in Indianapolis, Bill was the cherished son of the late Betty and Charles Frazer and the treasured sibling to Charlene, Sam, and Bob, who preceded him in death.
Bill was a proud graduate of George Washington High School, where he first displayed the vibrant spirit and kind heart that would endear him to so many throughout his life. Following his education, Bill served his country with honor in the Army, a testament to his deep-seated sense of duty and commitment to helping others.
For most of his life, Bill worked as a welder and fabricator, a career he embraced with dedication and skill. His talents were further recognized and valued during his tenure with the city of Indianapolis. Bill had an innate ability to "fiddle" with anything and everything, a testament to his curiosity and resourcefulness, qualities that made him a pillar of support in both his professional and personal life.
Bill was a fisherman at heart, finding joy and serenity in the waters, especially when accompanied by his family. His greatest joy, however, was derived from his role as a family man. Bill's kindness and generosity knew no bounds; he was the kind of man who would give you the shirt off his back, always ready with a hearty laugh and a good-natured, ornery joke to brighten any room.
He was a steadfast presence in the lives of his children, Jessica and Brandon, and his beloved grandchildren, Makenna, Gemma, Chloe, and Daphne. Bill cherished every moment with them, pouring his love and wisdom into their lives and always being there whenever they needed him. His heart was as large as his capacity to love, and he never hesitated to go above and beyond for those he held dear.
As we say goodbye to Bill, we hold on to the memories and the love he shared so generously with all of us. His legacy of kindness, laughter, and unwavering support will forever remain in our hearts.
A private ceremony will be held to honor Bill's life, in keeping with the family's wishes. As we mourn his passing, we take solace in the special message his family wishes to share: "Forever in our hearts, until we meet again."
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that those who wish to honor Bill's memory consider performing an act of kindness in his name. He would have loved that.
Bill Frazer's light will continue to shine in the lives of those he touched. We find comfort knowing that he is now reunited with his parents and siblings, and that his spirit will live on in the stories and memories we share.
