It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Beverly Kaye Bland, who left us peacefully at her home on August 27, 2026. Born in Columbus, Indiana, on March 28, 1946, Bev lived a life rich in love, warmth, and shared memories. Beverly was a beacon of kindness and strength, qualities she carried with her throughout her 80 remarkable years. She was the cherished daughter of the late Henry and Elsie and the beloved sister to her predeceased siblings Shirley, Barb, Deloris, Patricia, Henry, and Ronnie. She is survived by her loving brother, Steve, and was a devoted mother to her son, Scott, and his partner, Mylissa McCoy. Beverly's legacy is further carried on by her treasured grandchildren: Peyton, Cody, Jordan, Hailey, Caleb, Kyle, and Madisen, as well as her adoring great-grandchildren, Andrew, Amaya, and Theo. She held a special place in her heart for her niece and loving caregiver, Kathy, alongside numerous other nieces and nephews who were dear to her. Beverly dedicated 30 years to the Cummins engine company, where she worked in various capacities, leaving a lasting impact on her colleagues and the organization. After her retirement, she embraced her hobbies with fervor, filling her days with decorating and crafting. Bev had a knack for making her yard a beautiful and welcoming place, and she found joy in sharing her lovely space with others. Her passion for travel allowed her to create countless cherished moments with family and friends. Bev was known for her warm heart and a special fondness for her feline companions. She was an avid collector, finding beauty and sentiment in the various treasures she gathered throughout her life. Beverly's family extends their deepest gratitude to the staff at hospice especially her nurse Alesha. In lieu of flowers please donate to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
