June 7, 1935 — September 25, 2026

Beverly June Gelinas, lovingly known as "Meme," passed away peacefully at her home on September 25, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on June 7, 1935, in New Orleans, LA, June was a beacon of love and compassion throughout her life, leaving an indelible mark on everyone she encountered. Daughter of Lannie and Maude Depont, June grew up in a family that valued love and togetherness. She carried these values into her own life, raising her children with the same warmth and devotion. June was predeceased by her parents, her brother Robert DuPont, her devoted husband Armand Gelinas, her daughter Penny Osborne, and her grandson Nicholas Osborne. Her legacy continues in the lives of her children Paul Moscariello of Tennessee, Pattie Mayette of Massena, NY, Trudy Torre of St. Augustine, FL, and Bano Moscariello of Waterbury, CT. She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. June's life was a testament to the power of love and family. After her first marriage to Fred Moscariello, with whom she had three wonderful children, June found love again with Armand Gelinas. Their marriage in March of 1982 lasted 54 years, during which they blended their families with love and laughter, reminiscent of the Brady Bunch. Together, they created a home filled with joy, acceptance, and an unwavering sense of belonging. A devout Catholic, June found solace and strength in her faith, attending church wherever she traveled. She was an active member of her community, enjoying time at the clubhouse where she participated in Bingo, craft fairs, parties, and dinners. Her vibrant spirit and generosity made her a cherished friend to many. June's greatest joy came from her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She opened her heart and home to all who needed love and care, and she held a special bond with her granddaughter Crystal, whose courage and strength inspired her. Her legacy of love and compassion will be carried on through her family and the countless lives she touched. June's family extends a heartfelt thank you to her grandson Lannie, who provided extraordinary care and companionship during her final years, ensuring her life remained as normal and joyful as possible. In honor of June's memory, donations in her name can be made to a charity of your choice. Meme will be deeply missed, but her love and the lessons she imparted will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

In lieu of flowers, the family of Beverly (June) welcomes donations to a charity, nonprofit, church, or organization of your choosing.
