Beverly June McCarty

It is with heavy hearts and sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Beverly June McCarty, on September 1, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Beverly was born on December 2, 1972, in the town of Polk County, Missouri, to Samual & Flora (Busenberry) Thompson. Beverly was 53, and deeply loved by her family, friends, and co-workers. Beverly was preceded in death by her beloved parents Samual & Flora Thompson, and her son, Shelby Sitsler, whose memories she treasured deeply. Beverly is survived by her husband, Jay McCarty, of the home, her children, Sasha, Cody, and Jeremiah Sitsler, Jake McCarty, her sisters, Sally, Tammy, & Ira, & her brother, Doc, and 10 grandchildren, and many other relatives who will miss her dearly. Beverly’s life was a testament to love and family. On April 7, 2009, Beverly united in marriage with Jay McCarty in Pryor, Oklahoma. They shared a beautiful journey of 17 years together making countless cherished memories. She brought joy, love, and laughter, into their lives, and to everyone that knew her. Beverly was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many. She will always be remembered for her generous heart, quick witty humor, and the many ways she always made others feel included and like part of her family. Beverly was kind and humble with a nurturing spirit and would provide an ear for listening that made people feel understood. Her family will remember her strength and all the love that she provided that shaped each of their lives. A service to celebrate Beverly’s life will be held on September 11, 2026, at 5:30 PM at the Pryor Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to gather to honor her remarkable life and bid farewell to a woman who was truly one of kind. Beverly June McCarty's life was a testament to the enduring power of love and family. Her memory will forever be a guiding light to those who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace, forever in our hearts.
