Beverly Jeanne Taylor Brown

It is with profound sadness and a deep sense of gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the peaceful passing of Beverly Jeanne Taylor Brown on September 12th, 2026, at her cherished home in Conroe, Texas. Born on May 1st, 1938, in Houston, Texas, Beverly was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and friend to many. Beverly was the treasured daughter of the late Jack and Thelma Taylor and grew up in a household filled with love and laughter alongside her sister, Sharon Koehne, and her brother, Don Ray Wilson. Beverly's early years in Houston were marked by a deep sense of family and community that she carried throughout her life. At the tender age of 15, Beverly married her soulmate, Ray Edwin Brown Sr., on January 29th, 1954. Their union was a testament to enduring love, lasting until Ray's passing. Together, they built a beautiful family blessed with three loving children: Jeanne Thibodaux (Claude), Ray Brown Jr., and Jana Porio. Beverly was a proud grandmother of 11 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and was further blessed with many great-great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to her life. Beverly was a devoted member of The Ark Family Church, where her deep Christian faith and warmth touched many lives. Her compassionate spirit extended beyond her family and church. Her family was Beverly's greatest pride and joy, and she found immense pleasure in attending her grandchildren's extracurricular activities, cheering them on with boundless enthusiasm. She was an avid bowler, whose talent earned her many trophies and had a unique hobby of collecting salt and pepper shakers from around the world, each one a testament to her adventurous spirit and love for life's simple pleasures. Beverly also found peace and fulfillment in her garden, nurturing it with the same care and dedication she showed to her loved ones. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to John Fernandez from The Ark Family Church for officiating her funeral service, which will be held on September 17th, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Cashner Funeral Home & Garden Park Cemetery, located at 801 Teas Rd, Conroe, Texas 77303. Beverly will be laid to rest with the dignity and grace that characterized her life. She was deeply grateful for the care provided by Joan, Sonya, Kathy, and Sherri from the New Age Hospice Care in her final days. Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we are comforted by the countless memories of Beverly's kindness, humor, and unwavering love. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and family that will endure forever in the hearts of those she touched.
