Beverly Jeanne Taylor Brown, a beacon of love and wisdom, peacefully passed away in her sleep at her cherished home on September 12th, 2026. Born on May 1st, 1938, in Houston, Texas, Beverly lived a life enriched by her kindness, strength, and unwavering dedication to God, family and community. Beverly was the beloved daughter of Jack and Thelma Taylor, who predeceased her, along with her dear sister Sharon Koehne, husband Ray Brown Sr., and daughter-in-law Lou Brown. Despite these losses, Beverly's life was a testament to resilience and grace. She is survived by her three loving children: Jeanne Thibodaux (Claude), Ray Brown Jr., and Jana Porio, who will forever cherish the warmth and wisdom of their mother. Also, brother Don Ray Wilson (Ellen), and sister-in-law Mary Von Tress. Her legacy continues through her large and loving family, which includes many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, each carrying forward her spirit of joy and compassion. On January 29th, 1954, Beverly married the love of her life, Ray Edwin Brown Sr., their union was a testament to enduring love, lasting until Ray's passing 8 years ago. Together, they built a beautiful family blessed with three loving children. Embarking on a journey of love and partnership that spanned decades. Together, they built a life full of love, laughter, and shared dreams, deeply rooted in family values and mutual respect. Beverly was a devoted mother, a nurturing grandmother, and a steadfast friend. She found immense pleasure in attending her grandchildren's extracurricular activities cheering them on with boundless enthusiasm. Her home was always a welcoming haven, filled with laughter and the aroma of home-cooked meals. She was an avid bowler, whose talent earned her many trophies and had a unique hobby of collecting salt and pepper shakers from around the world, each one a testament to her adventurous spirit and love for life's simple pleasures. Beverly also found peace and fulfillment in her garden, nurturing it with the same care and dedication she showed to her loved ones. She had a unique ability to make everyone feel special, always offering a listening ear and a comforting presence. She was a devoted member of The Ark Family Church, where her deep Christian faith and warmth touched many lives. Beverly Jeanne Taylor Brown's life was a testament to the power of love and family. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew her, a gentle reminder of the beauty of a life well-lived. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered. Beverly will be laid to rest with the dignity and grace that characterized her life. She was deeply grateful for the care provided by Joan, Sonya, Kathy, and Sherry from The New Age Hospice Care in her final days. The viewing will also be held at the Cashner Funeral Home and Garden Park Cemetery from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on September 16th 2026.
