Born in Northwestern Missouri on March 26, 1942, Beverly was the beloved daughter of the late Maurice and Jean Stickerod, whose memories she carried with her throughout her life. Beverly’s journey through life was marked by her profound dedication to her family, her unwavering kindness, and her gentle spirit. She found joy and fulfillment in the simple pleasures of life such as crosswords and jigsaw puzzles. Her home was always a welcoming sanctuary, where laughter and love were ever-present. She is survived by her devoted children, Debra A. Decker James, and her husband, Robert James Jr., along with Johnnie Decker, and his wife, Teresa. Beverly’s legacy of love continues through her grandchildren, Jessica (James) and Jason Scheidts, Savanah (James) and Nicholas DiTullio, Annabelle James, and Darla James, who brought immense pride and happiness into her life. Her great-grandchildren, Walker Scheidts and Dylan DiTullio, were the light of her later years, each visit and milestone filling her heart with immeasurable joy. Though her parents, Maurice and Jean Stickerod, predeceased her, Beverly's life was a testament to the values and love they bestowed upon her, values she passed on to her own family. Her enduring presence will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. In accordance with her wishes, a private ceremony will be held to honor Beverly’s life. Her family, while respecting her desire for privacy, invites those whose lives she touched to remember her in their own special way, cherishing the memories and the love she shared so generously.
