It is with heavy hearts and a deep appreciation for a life well-lived that we announce the peaceful passing of Beverly Baker on July 29, 2026, at the age of 91. Beverly departed this world due to natural causes, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and vibrant spirit. Born on May 7, 1935, in the charming town of Alma, Michigan, Beverly was a beacon of light and warmth to all who knew her. Preceded in death by husband William Baker ,daughter Beth Beets ,Grandaughter Dreya Colley. Beverly’s life was a tapestry of rich experiences and cherished relationships that she carefully wove throughout her many years. Beverly's life was marked by her love for nature, particularly her passion for planting flowers. She found immense joy in nurturing her garden, creating beauty and serenity that inspired all who were fortunate enough to visit her home. Her garden was a reflection of her soul—vibrant, nurturing, and full of life. Family was the cornerstone of Beverly's life. She leaves behind a heartbroken yet grateful family who will forever cherish her memory. Her loving children JoAnn and-George Carter, Rick Manees, Kevin Manees and his wife Shari, and her sister Doris Winship, along with Bryan, Mike, and Jeralyn Colley, Tyler and Ramona Beets. Samantha Ahlin , 6 great grandchildren and 4 great great grand children, along with the rest of the family, will miss her deeply. In keeping with Beverly's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor her extraordinary life. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in Beverly’s memory, to continue her legacy of kindness and generosity. Beverly Baker was a woman of grace and compassion, whose life was a testament to the power of love and the beauty of nature. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her, and her spirit will continue to bloom in the gardens she loved so dearly.
