December 23, 1933 — March 15, 2026

In Loving Memory of Beverly Ann (Peterson) Sorko-Ram Beverly Ann (Peterson) Sorko-Ram, born on December 23, 1933, was welcomed into eternal peace on March 15, 2026, as she gracefully graduated to Heaven. Beverly's life was a testament to faith, love, and unwavering dedication to her family and community. The cherished daughter of the late Carol and Jack Peterson, Beverly was raised in a home filled with love and strong moral values. Her grandmother, Burns, played a pivotal role in her early life, taking young Beverly to countless revival tent meetings and church services. It was these formative experiences that laid the foundation for Beverly's deep spiritual journey, leading her to turn her life over to Jesus at the age of 40. Beverly's life was a tapestry of love woven through her roles as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Nick Sorko-Ram, and her dear son, Matthew Sorko-Ram. Her siblings have also gone before her, leaving behind a legacy of familial love and shared memories. She is survived by her daughters, Dennice Gooley, Cathie Sorko-Ram, Deb Blair, and Pam McBride, who are all testaments to her nurturing spirit and strength. Beverly's love and wisdom have been passed down to her 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, who will forever cherish her memory and the values she instilled in them. Beverly was known for her giving heart, always seeking to help others in need, often anonymously. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, and she was the faithful prayer warrior for her family and friends, lifting them through life's trials with grace and compassion. An avid reader, Beverly found joy and solace in her Bible and mystery novels, and she possessed a masterful talent for word games, delighting in the challenge they presented. Her love for words and stories was a reflection of her vibrant spirit and keen intellect. A service to celebrate Beverly's remarkable life will be held on July 18, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Yesuha’s Love Heals Church, located at 627 12th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55415. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Beverly are invited to gather in remembrance of a woman whose life was a testament to love, faith, and generosity. As Beverly stands now beyond the veil, hand in hand with her grandmother, she continues to pray for us from the other side. Her legacy will forever inspire those who knew her, and her spirit will live on in the hearts of all she touched. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Beverly's honor to a charity of your choice, continuing her life's mission of helping others.
