Beverly Ann Crowe Cook

November 15, 1949 — July 23, 2026

Beverly Ann Cook passed away early morning of Thursday, July 23, 2026 at her home in Butte. She was born Tuesday, November 15, 1949 in Anaconda to Vernon E. and Edith Lorene (Mannix) Crowe. Beverly attended Anaconda Schools and graduated from Butte High School. Beverly married John Stanley Cook in Butte on January 29, 1970 and together they lived in Butte, Whitehall and Boulder. Beverly worked at the Montana Developmental Center in Boulder until John’s health issues forced them to move back to Butte. After moving back to Butte, Beverly worked as a seamstress at BSW. John passed away October 24, 2004. She is also preceded in death by a daughter Elva Cook and sister Christeen Crowe. Beverly enjoyed knitting, crocheting and several other fabric related crafts. She made and donated several sweaters and blankets to the Butte Food Bank. She very generous and very craftsy! She belonged to the Baptist Church in Boulder and was the Tri-Chem dealer when she lived there. She is survived by her daughters, Annette Cook of Butte and Paula Barnes of Helena, grandchildren, Victor Davis, Phillip Barnes, Elizabeth Barnes and Troy Barnes. She is also survived by her son-in-law, Clayton Barnes of Helena, brothers and sister-in-law, Russell and Ruthann Crowe of Whitehall, Carl Crowe and Robert Crowe as well as niece and nephews Andrew, Rachel and Henry Crowe and Michael Crowe and numerous cousins especially Ray Arkell.
