It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the peaceful passing of Beulah Contreras, a cherished mother, grandmother, friend, and beacon of light to all who knew her. Beulah left this world on March 16, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones, at the age of 89. Born on May 20, 1936, in the close-knit community of Winkleman, Arizona, Beulah was the beloved daughter of Alfredo and Esther Ortiz. Her upbringing in such a heartfelt, spirited environment imbued her with a deep sense of family and community that she carried throughout her life. Beulah's life was marked by her unwavering love and dedication to her family. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Alfredo S. Contreras, with whom she shared a beautiful marriage filled with joy, love, and shared dreams from November 21, 1970, until his passing. She was also predeceased by her brother, Alfred Ortiz. She is survived by her loving children: John Christopher (Reina), Sylvia Braunwalder (Bernard), Sandra Dragotto (Dennis), and Alfred Contreras (Elizabeth). Her grandchildren, Marbella Azul and John Edward, were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent nurturing their growth and watching them embark on their own life journeys. Beulah's warmth extended beyond her immediate family; she was known for her open heart and generous spirit. Her love for fostering children left an indelible mark on many young lives, providing them with the love and care they so richly deserved. She had a passion for dancing, and her joy was infectious to all who had the privilege to share a dance floor with her. Her professional life was spent at Hughes Aircraft, where she dedicated herself with diligence and integrity until her well-earned retirement. Beulah's colleagues remember her as a beacon of positivity, always ready with a kind word or a helping hand. A celebration of Beulah's life will be held on April 8, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Saint Elizabeth Ann Seaton Catholic Church, located at 8650 N Shannon Rd, Tucson, AZ 85742, United States. Family and friends are invited to join in honoring a woman whose life was a testament to love, kindness, and resilience. Though she has departed from this world, Beulah's spirit remains in the hearts of those she touched. Her legacy is one of love, compassion, and unwavering faith in the goodness of humanity. She leaves behind a tapestry of memories that will be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
