Betty Wenhold

It is with heavy hearts and deep love that we announce the passing of Betty Wenhold, a cherished soul who left this world on October 26, 2026, at the age of 68. Betty was born on November 30, 1957, in the beautiful state of Oregon. Her journey ended peacefully at home, surrounded by the warmth of her family, after bravely battling cancer. Betty was the beloved daughter of Gene and Sherry Sharp, who both preceded her in death along with her twin sister Becky and sister Debbie. She is survived by her devoted husband of 50 years, Mark, and their children Brandy, Chris, Amanda, and Derek. Betty's legacy continues through her adored grandchildren Chris Jr. (Alyssa), Caitlyn, Chandler, Jaden, Kriztina (Gilberto), Paige, Cash, Skylar, and Caylee, as well as her precious great-grandchildren Violet and Izabela. Betty dedicated over 30 years of her life to a fulfilling career with Kaiser, before retiring to enjoy the pleasures of family and hobbies. She was a talented and passionate artisan, often found sewing, crocheting, diamond painting, and engaging in a myriad of other crafts. Her artistic spirit was matched only by her boundless kindness and the genuine friendships she cultivated with everyone she met. Family was the cornerstone of Betty's life. She was a nurturing and supportive presence, always there for her loved ones, and her home was a sanctuary of love and laughter. Those who knew Betty were touched by her unwavering friendship and the deep love she held for her family. A service to honor and celebrate Betty's life will be held on November 28, 2026. The location is to be announced. As we say farewell to this remarkable woman, we hold close the memories of her warmth and generosity. Betty will be missed greatly but will remain forever in our hearts.
