Betty was born on October 8, 1942, in the welcoming embrace of Milam County, Texas, to her devoted parents, Onnie Lee Stidom and Johnny Moss Sr. Betty was raised in a home filled with love and cherished memories, alongside her siblings Johnny Moss Jr., Belinda Ward, Otharee Allridge, Moses Moss, and Thomas Moss, all of whom predeceased her. She carried their spirits with her throughout her life, honoring their memories with grace and resilience. A woman of extraordinary warmth and kindness, Betty was a beacon of light to those around her. Her life was a testament to the values of family, faith, and friendship. She nurtured a home that was always open, a heart that was always warm, and a hand that was always extended. Betty's legacy lives on in her devoted sons, Gerald Wright, Timothy Goosby, and Kerry Goosby, who were the pride and joy of her life. She also leaves behind her cherished Goddaughter, Stephanie Peterson, who held a special place in her heart. Her granddaughters, Ashley Alyson and Charmaine Goosby, were the apples of her eye, and her love and wisdom will forever guide them. Betty was also a proud great-grandmother to four beautiful great-grandchildren, whose laughter and joy filled her days with happiness. In addition to her immediate family, Betty is survived by her loving siblings Doris Gray, Norris Moss, Lillian Whitfield (Dwight), and Lois McCoy. Her extended family includes a host of nieces, nephews, and friends who were touched by her kindness and generosity. Betty's life was a tapestry woven with threads of love, devotion, and community. She was a pillar of strength in her family and an unwavering friend to many. Her gentle spirit and compassionate nature left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
