March 2, 1937 — September 19, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Betty Mae Clark, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, who left this world peacefully on September 19, 2026. Born on March 2, 1937, in the charming town of Mt. Airy, Maryland, Betty was a beacon of warmth and kindness to all who knew her. The daughter of Paul W. Brown and Mabel Elizabeth Brown Harrison, Betty was shaped by the love and values instilled in her from a young age. She graduated from Mt. Airy High School, where she formed the foundation for a life filled with learning and adventure. Betty was predeceased by her cherished husband, Duane Clark, her sister Shirley Rigler, brother Paul Jr., and sister Donna Brown. Their memories live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved them. Betty's life was enriched by the love and support of her surviving family members: Steve Rigler and Nina, Teri Gue and Gary, Kenny Rigler and Jane, Vicky Jones and Mark, and Tom Gelpi and Judy. Her legacy continues through her eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, each carrying a piece of her spirit forward. A lover of dogs and traveling, Betty found joy in exploring new places and forming bonds with the furry companions she adored. Her love for life was infectious, inspiring those around her to embrace each moment with enthusiasm and grace. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Betty's life at a service held at Casebeer Church, located in Somerset, Pennsylvania. As we gather to honor her memory, we remember a life well-lived, filled with love, laughter, and the company of cherished friends and family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Betty Mae Clark's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, an organization close to her heart, headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee. Betty Mae Clark's kindness, resilience, and love will be dearly missed but never forgotten. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.
