In Loving Memory of Betty Horlean Arthur
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Betty Horlean Arthur, who peacefully left us on June 15, 2026, at the age of 87. Born on June 14, 1939, in the quaint town of Henrietta, Missouri, Betty lived a life rich with love, dedication, and warmth.
Betty was the cherished daughter of the late George Henry Robinson and Lovie Annabelle Nelson Robinson, and she was lovingly embraced by her predeceased siblings: Cordell Robinson, Edward Robinson, George Robinson Jr., David Robinson, Loreen Robinson, Mildred Young, Donna Millentree, and Joyce Ann Morgan. The legacy of the Robinson family lives on through the memories they shared and the bonds they built.
A devoted mother, Betty is survived by her beloved children: sons Mack Arthur Jr. and David Wayne Arthur, and her adored daughter Pamela Ann Arthur. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering support were the cornerstones of their lives. Her heart expanded with the joy of her seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren, who will forever carry forward the lessons and love she imparted.
Betty's journey through life was marked by her dedication to her work as a talented cook. She shared her culinary gifts in the kitchens of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, Omaha, Nebraska, and Wichita Falls, Texas. Known for her delicious meals and warm hospitality, Betty's love was tasted in every dish she prepared.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Betty had a passion for the written word, spending countless hours lost in the pages of her favorite books. Her nimble fingers created beautiful crocheted pieces that brought comfort and warmth to those she cherished. Above all, she treasured the time spent with her family, creating memories that will be held dear for generations.
In this time of remembrance, Betty's family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude for the love and support they have received. They wish to honor her life and spirit with a memorial service, to be held at a later date, where family and friends can come together to celebrate her remarkable journey.
Though she is no longer with us, Betty Horlean Arthur's legacy of love, kindness, and resilience will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be profoundly missed and forever remembered in our hearts.
May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love of her family and the comfort of a life well-lived.
