Medrano Sr., whose unwavering partnership was a testament to their enduring love. Together, they built a family that would become her greatest joy and proudest achievement. Betty's life was graced by the love of her children, Richard Garza, Sylvia Friedman, Gregory Garza, and Andrew Jr. Medrano, who carry forward her legacy of kindness and strength. Her heart overflowed with pride for her 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, each a precious testament to her life’s work. Betty was predeceased by her son Richard Garza, her sister Lucy Martinez, her brother Greg Bocanegra, and her beloved granddaughter Shyanne Medrano. Their memories remain etched in her spirit, and she joins them now in eternal peace. Betty’s warmth and generosity left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her life was a testament to the power of love, family, and resilience—values she imparted to her family and community through countless acts of kindness. A private ceremony will be held to honor Betty's life, as she wished for her family to gather in intimate remembrance. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests donations be made to a charity of one's choice, reflecting Betty’s lifelong dedication to helping others. Though she has left this earthly realm, Betty B. Medrano's spirit will forever illuminate the hearts of those who loved her.
