Bethornia was blessed with a marriage that spanned 44 wonderful years with his devoted wife, Myra Etheridge Tucker. An avid deer hunter and a passionate fisherman, Bethornia found joy and solace in nature. His love for the great outdoors was matched only by his love for his family, including his five treasured grandchildren, who brought him immense pride and happiness. A service to celebrate Bethornia's life will be held on September 12, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the First Missionary Baptist Church, located at 129 Sumter St., Summerville, South Carolina.
