September 19, 1948 — October 18, 2026

Beth Christine (Hakala) Jaremczuk born on September 19, 1948, in the charming town of Ishpeming, Michigan, passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning of October 18, 2026. Her life was a testament to love, dedication, and resilience, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege to know her. Beth spent her early years cultivating a love for children, which led her to pursue a bachelor's degree in education from Northern Michigan University. She taught for several years in Baltimore, Maryland, where she met Jerry. Later, she transitioned into the role of an office administrator, where her organizational skills and warm demeanor were appreciated by all her colleagues. On a snowy Christmas Day in 1971, Beth married the love of her life, Jerry Jaremczuk. Their union was one of shared dreams and mutual support, lasting over four decades. Together, they built a loving family that became the center of Beth's world. She was so proud of them: her daughter Tricia and her husband Wes and her son Michael and his wife Jalene. Her legacy continues through her seven cherished grandchildren, Belle, Mia, Aleah, Jeremiah, Wesley, Payton, and Mikey all who brought immense joy to her life. Beth was a woman of faith and community, dedicating many years as a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church. Her presence there was not only as a participant but as a source of strength and comfort to those around her. Known for her green thumb, Beth found solace and happiness in gardening. Yet, it was her time with family that she treasured above all. She was the anchor that held her family together, and her unconditional love was a guiding light for her children. Beth's honesty, humor, and problem-solving abilities were admired and will be deeply missed by those who loved her. Her family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all who offered their love and support during Beth's courageous battle with cancer. A celebration of life is planned for July 2027 in Upper Michigan. Her family and friends will remember her as a wonderful soul, whose love and wisdom will forever remain in their hearts.
