January 15, 1960 — August 7, 2026

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved Bertha M. Terry, who left this world on August 7, 2026, at the age of 66, after a valiant battle with respiratory failure and metastatic thyroid cancer. Born on January 15, 1960, in the vibrant city of Atlanta, GA, Bertha was a beacon of grace and strength, touching the hearts of all who knew her. Bertha was the loving daughter of Clifford V. Robinson Sr. and the late Ruby Perkins. She was predeceased by her cherished mother, her sister Yvonne, and her brother Clifford Jr. Her spirit and legacy live on through her devoted son, Rinaldo, and her treasured grandchildren, Demario and Janiya, whom she adored beyond measure. Bertha also leaves behind her father, Clifford Sr., her brother Michael, her sisters Betty, Jackie, and Sharon, her sister-in-law Iris, her brother-in-law Scotty, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins who will forever carry her memory in their hearts. Bertha's journey was marked by accomplishments and dedication. She was a proud alumna of D. M. Therrell High School in Atlanta, where she showcased her vibrant personality as a member of the Mighty Marching Panthers Majorette Squad. Her pursuit of knowledge led her to Devry Business Institute in Norcross, where she earned her CPA License for the State of Georgia. Her professional career flourished as she served with distinction as the Head CPA & Director for Crawford & Company Insurance Adjusters for an impressive 16 years. Beyond her professional achievements, Bertha found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She was an avid reader, a lover of music and concerts, and above all, she cherished her roles as a mother and grandmother. Her family was her world, and she devoted herself wholeheartedly to nurturing and supporting them. Bertha shared a deep and loving bond with her husband, Lavonne (Tango) Terry. Together, they celebrated the birth of their son, Rinaldo Anton, who was the light of their lives. A celebration of Bertha's life will be held on August 7, 2026, at 4:40 PM at the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, located at 4192 Brownsville Rd, Powder Springs, Georgia 30127. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Bertha are invited to join in honoring her memory. In lieu of flowers, those who wish to make a gesture of remembrance may consider a donation to "Nieces & Cousins" in her honor. The family of Bertha M. Terry extends their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love and support received during this difficult time. May the Lord continue to bless you and your families with good health and strength.
