She was the proud mother of Chantel Nicole Manning, who was the light of her life. Bertha's love extended to her grandchildren, Noah Scott Menchan and Nouri Cole Menchan, who brought immense joy and laughter to her days. Bertha's family was her pride and joy, and she found great comfort in the bonds she shared with her siblings: Charles Mcdougald, Charmone Manning, Michelle Manning, Maxine Manning, and Barabra Cooper. Alongside a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends, Bertha's life was filled with love and laughter. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Bertha’s life and honor her memory at a service on August 28, 2026, at 11:00 AM. The service will be held at Whigham Funeral Home, located at 580 Dr. MLK Blvd. Bertha's family kindly suggests that those who wish to honor her memory consider making a donation to a charity of their choice.
