It is with heavy hearts and profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Berrika A Fuller, who left this world peacefully in her sleep on February 17, 2026. Born on October 20, 1982, at Fort Stewart, GA, Berrika was a beacon of love and kindness, whose legacy will forever illuminate the hearts of those who knew her.
Berrika was the cherished daughter of Elizabeth Fuller and the late John Fuller Jr. She was predeceased by her dear sister, Chakita Jones. She leaves behind her loving mother, Elizabeth Fuller, and her beloved son, Skylar Dean, who was the center of her universe. Berrika's memory will also be treasured by her siblings, Deon Fuller (Yolani Fuller), Shun Fuller, John Fuller III (Keyshia Fuller), Jonathan Fuller, Monique Fuller, Justin Alford, Johntae Fuller, Brittany Fuller, Mia Fuller, and Leiquetta Fuller, along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
A proud graduate of E.E. Smith High School in 2001, Berrika furthered her passion for beauty and style by earning a two-year degree in Cosmetology from Fayetteville Tech. Her career as a hairstylist at Impressive Tresses Salon 3 Inc. was not just a job, but a calling. Berrika was renowned for her sense of style and her unwavering dedication to making her clients feel special and beautiful. Her expertise in hairstyling was more than a skill; it was a gift that she shared generously, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Berrika's life was a symphony of joy and laughter. In high school, she was an active member of the E.E. Smith Band, where she skillfully played the saxophone. Her love for music was only surpassed by her passion for creating art through hairstyling. Above all, Berrika cherished her role as a mother to Skylar, finding joy and fulfillment in every moment spent with him.
Known for her radiant smile and impeccable sense of style, Berrika had an innate ability to brighten any room with her presence. Her quick wit and humor were always ready to lighten the mood, and her kindness and generosity touched countless lives. Berrika made everyone feel welcome and valued, leaving a legacy of love and compassion that will endure in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
A celebration of Berrika's life will be held on February 28, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Wiseman Mortuary, located at 431 Cumberland Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301. We invite all who knew and loved Berrika to join us in honoring her beautiful life and legacy.
