In Loving Memory of Bernard Lewis Bernard Lewis June 9, 1950 – May 27, 2026 With heavy hearts and loving memories, we celebrate the life of Bernard Lewis, who departed this life on May 27, 2026, at the age of 75. Born on June 9, 1950, in Fredericksburg, Virginia, Bernard was the beloved son of the late Vernon Lewis and Susie Lewis. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose kindness, strength, and dedication left a lasting impact on all who knew him. Bernard spent many years working as a Heavy Equipment Operator, a profession that reflected his strong work ethic and commitment to providing for his family. He later continued his career with the Spotsylvania County School System, from which he ultimately retired. Throughout his life, Bernard was known for his dependability, humility, and willingness to lend a helping hand whenever needed. Family was the cornerstone of Bernard's life. He cherished time spent with his loved ones and took great pride in watching his family grow through the generations. His steady presence, wisdom, and unconditional love will be deeply missed but forever remembered. Bernard was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon Lewis and Susie Lewis; his sister, Carolyn Lewis; and his brothers, Douglas Lewis, Randolph Lewis, and Ronald Lewis. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Tina Lewis; his sons, Dermaine Lewis (Vichele) and Delonte Lewis (Amanda); his grandchildren, Morgan Lewis and DeSean Lewis; his brothers, Kenneth Lewis and Thomas Lewis; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever hold him in their hearts. Though Bernard's earthly journey has ended, the love he shared, the lessons he taught, and the memories he created will continue to live on in the lives of those he touched. "Well done, good and faithful servant." Matthew 25:23 Forever Loved. Forever Remembered. Forever Missed. ❤️
