Berlin was the cherished son of his predeceased parents, and he was welcomed into heaven by his grandmother, sister Betty, and dear daughter Julie Marie, whose memory he held close. He is survived by his loving wife, Virginia Danner, with whom he shared a beautiful journey of love and companionship. Together, they built a family that became the cornerstone of Berlin's life.
A graduate of Whitehall Yearling High School, Berlin's dedication to his work was evident in his 44-year career at Columbus Sign, where he was respected for his diligence, craftsmanship, and integrity. Beyond his professional life, Berlin was a man of the outdoors. He found solace and adventure in nature, enjoying hunting, fishing, and mushroom hunting. These passions not only brought him joy but also created lasting memories with his family, who often joined him on his outdoor adventures.
Berlin's legacy lives on through his children, Gene (Jennifer) Danner, William (Yvonne) Danner, and Jeffrey (Christine) Danner, who carry forward his values of kindness, perseverance, and love. He was a proud grandfather to nine grandchildren and a beloved great-grandfather to eleven great-grandchildren, all of whom were the lights of his life and a source of immense pride.
His family remembers him as a man who not only shared his knowledge and skills but also taught them the importance of cherishing each moment. Berlin's laughter, wisdom, and stories will be profoundly missed but deeply cherished.
