Born on June 23, 1973, in Chicago, Illinois, his life was a testament to kindness, intelligence, and an unwavering dedication to his family and community. Benjamin was the cherished son of Stacy and Alfred Piper, who predeceased him, along with his beloved sister Mary Ann and brother Lance. He is survived by his devoted children, Bryan, Bradley, and Becky Piper, who were his pride and joy. His legacy continues through his six adored grandchildren: Mickey, Tyler, and Devon Piper, and Brandon, Justin, and Lauryn Hall, who brought immeasurable happiness to his life. A bright and inquisitive student, Benjamin graduated from Kenwood High School in Chicago, Illinois, before pursuing higher education at Northwestern University, where he earned his Ph.D. His passion for learning and discovery was evident in all that he did, and he inspired those around him to strive for greatness. Benjamin was a successful entrepreneur, owning and operating "Suds," a popular car wash that became a pillar of the community. Known for his hard work and integrity, he built a business that provided not just a service, but a place where connections were made and smiles were exchanged. Though a private ceremony will be held in his honor, the impact Benjamin had on those around him will be publicly remembered and cherished. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, a gesture that truly reflects Benjamin's generous spirit and his desire to make the world a better place.
