June 30, 1993 — May 9, 2026

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Benjamin Lymon, who departed this world on May 9, 2026. Born on June 30, 1993, in the vibrant city of Mobile, Benjamin was a beacon of light whose warmth and compassion touched the lives of all who knew him. Benjamin was the cherished son of Patricia and Ben Lymon, who instilled in him the values of love and community. From a young age, he exhibited a natural affinity for the outdoors, often found with a fishing rod in his hand and a wide smile on his face. His passion for fishing was matched only by his love for football, where he excelled not only as a player but also as a dedicated coach, inspiring countless young athletes with his guidance and encouragement. Family was at the heart of Benjamin's life. He was a devoted son, a caring brother to Kimberly, Faye, and Genice Lymon, and an unwavering friend to many. His family-oriented nature extended beyond his immediate kin, as he was known for his genuine affection for children, always taking the time to listen, teach, and play with them. His laughter and joy were infectious, creating a sense of community and belonging wherever he went. Though we mourn the loss of Benjamin, we find solace in the beautiful legacy he leaves behind. He was predeceased by his beloved grandmother, Willi Lou Lymon, with whom he shared an unbreakable bond. We take comfort in knowing that they are now reunited, watching over us from above. A service to celebrate Benjamin's remarkable life will be held on May 16, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Calvary, located at 1700 Midway Ave. We invite all those whose lives Benjamin touched to join us in honoring his memory, sharing stories and remembering the extraordinary person he was. In the words of his family, "Those we love don’t go away; they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near
