With heavy hearts and profound love, we announce the passing of Benjamin Lee Sanders, who left us too soon on April 22, 2026, at the age of 44. Benjamin, affectionately known as Ben, was born on February 23, 1982, in the vibrant city of Memphis, Tennessee, a place he would lovingly call home throughout his cherished life. Benjamin was the beloved son of Sharon and the late Michael Sanders. He shared a deep bond with his family, who were the pillars of his strength and joy. Ben was predeceased by his mother, Sheila Sanders, and his brother, Jeremy Sanders, both of whom he held close in his heart every day. He is survived by his loving children, Alyssa and Luke, who were the light of his life and his endless source of pride. Additionally, Ben was blessed with a precious granddaughter, Harper, whose smile could brighten even his most challenging days. Throughout his life, Ben was a man of many talents and a friend to all who knew him. He had an entrepreneurial spirit that led him to create the well-loved food truck, Tripple B, which served the Memphis area with delicious fare and a side of genuine warmth. Ben's food truck wasn't just a business; it was a community staple where people gathered not just to eat, but to share stories and laughter. His culinary creations were not only a feast for the palate but also a testament to his creativity and passion for bringing people together. Ben's journey was marked by his unwavering dedication to his family and his community. He was a man who valued the simple pleasures in life, whether it was sharing a meal with loved ones, watching his children grow, or enjoying the soulful music of the city he adored. His kindness, humor, and generous spirit left an indelible mark on everyone he met. In his leisure time, Ben enjoyed exploring the outdoors, where he would find solace and inspiration. His adventurous spirit and zest for life were contagious, inspiring those around him to embrace the beauty of the world and the joy of living each day to its fullest. As we say goodbye to Benjamin Lee Sanders, we do so with gratitude for the time we shared and the memories we created together. His legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of his family, his friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. A celebration of Ben's life will be held at a later date, where friends and family can gather to honor the remarkable man he was and the love he shared with us all. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a local charity supporting community food initiatives, continuing Ben's legacy of giving and kindness. Ben, you will be dearly missed but never forgotten. Your spirit will forever be etched in our hearts and memories. Rest in peace, dear friend, father, and son.
