Benjamin Jenkins
December 2, 1994 — March 18, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Benjamin Jenkins, who departed this world on March 18, 2026, at the young age of 31. He passed away from a stroke, leaving a void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Born on December 2, 1994, in Harrisburg, Benjamin was a beacon of light and love in the lives of those around him.
Benjamin was the cherished son of Mary Jenkins and Latrell Jenkins, who nurtured his vibrant spirit and inquisitive mind. He was a proud graduate of Southern Philadelphia High School, where he earned the accolade of being a straight-A scholar, a testament to his dedication and intellect. He was the first in his generation to achieve this milestone, setting a shining example for others to follow.
With a deep passion for the arts, Benjamin found joy and expression in music and performance. His love for art was not just a hobby but a way of life, a mirror reflecting his inner soul's beauty and creativity. His talents brought smiles and inspiration to many, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of his audience.
Benjamin's life was blessed with the love and companionship of his partner, Mary Jenkins. Together, they shared a journey filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Though their time together was cut far too short, the bond they forged will remain eternal.
Preceded in death by family members Brielle Jenkins, Chaotic Jenkins, Benji Jenkins Jr., Keshaun Ransom, Rashad Mitchell, Anthony Richardson, and William Richardson, Benjamin's passing is a poignant reminder of the family ties that extend beyond the physical realm.
Left to cherish his memory is his dear sister, Karma Jenkins, who remains a testament to the enduring spirit of their family. Her strength and love serve as a beacon of hope and continuity for the Jenkins family legacy.
A service to honor and celebrate Benjamin's life will be held on March 25, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. We invite family and friends to join us in remembering a son, brother, partner, and friend whose life, though brief, was filled with purpose and love.
In reflecting on Benjamin's legacy, his family wishes to share a special message that encapsulates his guiding philosophy: "Lead never follow." These words, filled with wisdom and courage, are a reminder of the trail he blazed for others to follow.
Though Benjamin's physical presence is no longer with us, his spirit remains, inspiring us to live with passion, creativity, and love. May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him, and may we honor his life by carrying forward his legacy of leadership and love.
