Ben Stone

Ben Stone, a cherished soul who touched the lives of many. Born on September 6, 1952, in Martinsville, Virginia. Ben lived a life marked by unwavering faith, devotion to family, and service to his country. Ben was predeceased by his beloved wife, Linda Lou Stone, who passed away on August 19, 2025. Their marriage of 29 years was a testament to their deep love and commitment to one another. A proud veteran, Ben served with honor in the Army, a time he often recalled with pride. For 22 years, Ben dedicated his life to preaching the Word of God, a calling that allowed his love for the Lord to shine brightly. He was a beacon of hope and faith for his everyone he encountered. He is survived by his Special Niece, Melissa See, and his "Adoptive family" who included Ruth, Aubrie, and Havannah Greene; Jeremy, Jodie, and Isaiah Jones; and Mike, Makenzie, Zoe and Gage Greene. Each of them held a unique place in his heart, and he in theirs. Ben Stone's legacy is one of love, faith, and service. He leaves behind a world made brighter by his presence and a multitude of hearts forever touched by his kindness. May he rest in eternal peace, reunited with his dear Linda, in the loving embrace of the Lord.
