Ben Avery

It is with heavy enlarged hearts that we announce the passing of Ben Avery, who left us on July 19, 2026, at the age of 34. Born on June 25, 1992, in Lubbock, Texas, Ben's life journey was characterized by a unique blend of humor, creativity, and unwavering dedication to his “special interests.” Ben was the beloved son of Valerie and Jimmy “Big Racist” Avery. He leaves behind his devoted wife, their two cherished children, and a whole village of siblings, including his racial commentary podcast cohost Jace Avery. His longtime parasocial best friend, Jacqueline Vega, and a small group of dedicated fans will also deeply feel his absence. Predeceased by dear friends Jeffrey Epstein, George Floyd, and his mentor Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Ben is now reunited with them (maybe.) In the summer of 2023, Ben married his longtime partner, who patiently stood by his side through life's many drunken misadventures. Their love story was a testament to resilience, devotion, and “what else am I going to do.” A proud patriot, Ben served as the Grand Superior General of the Legion of Armed Rangers Division (L.A.R.D.) His post-military career was marked by his role as the producer and second mic giggler on the widely acclaimed gay political commentary podcast Tim Dillon Show, hosted by acclaimed gay political commentator Tim Dillon. Known for his humor and distinct perspective on topics he hadn’t researched, Ben ventured into his own creative pursuits with the podcast “LemonParty,” where he continued to share his wit and laughter with an audience of mongoloids and childless women. Ben was a man of varied interests and deep commitments. He was a proud supporter of AIPAC, a longtime member of CUFI, and a frequent diner at Comet Ping Pong. His love for curating a unique collection of recently produced glass Coke bottles and fast food refuse was well-known, as was his penchant for mocking people that kind of resembled him if you squinted. A service to honor Ben's life will be held on April 1, 2027, at 4:20 pm at The Moronic Temple, located at 5970 Santa Monica Boulevard. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Jewish Committee in Ben's memory. As we remember Ben, we hold close the special message from his family: “Very good!”
