Belinda T Gurganus

December 30, 1961 — April 21, 2026

It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude for her life that we announce the peaceful passing of Belinda T. Gurganus, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, on April 21, 2026. Born on December 30, 1961, in the charming town of Halifax, Virginia, Belinda's journey was marked by her unwavering love and dedication to those she held dear. Belinda was the cherished daughter of the late Buck and Alice Tuck, who instilled in her the values of kindness and resilience. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, her devoted parents, and a beloved sister. Despite these profound losses, Belinda's spirit remained unyielding and vibrant, a testament to her enduring strength and grace. Her legacy lives on in her five devoted children, who were the light of her life. They, along with her five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, were the source of her greatest joy and pride. Belinda's nurturing spirit extended beyond her immediate family, touching the lives of her two surviving sisters, a brother, and countless nieces and nephews who cherished her guidance and warmth. Belinda found solace and community within the Chesterfield Community Church, a place where her faith flourished and where she dedicated much of her time and energy. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Chesterfield Community Church, a gesture that would honor Belinda's memory and her commitment to her faith community. A service celebrating Belinda's remarkable life will be held on May 2, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at the Chesterfield Community Church, located at 7110 Woodpecker Rd, Chesterfield, VA 23838. Friends and family are invited to gather and share in the remembrance of a life well-lived, a life that touched so many with its kindness, compassion, and unwavering love. As we bid farewell to Belinda, let us remember her for the joy she brought to our lives, her unwavering support, and her ability to make everyone she met feel valued and loved. Her legacy will continue through the lives of those she touched, and her spirit will forever remain in our hearts. May she rest in peace, knowing she was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
