She departed this world on July 26, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter that will forever echo in our hearts.
Becky was the beloved daughter of James and Billie Benton, who instilled in her a deep sense of kindness and resilience. She grew up in a household filled with love and laughter, creating cherished memories that would guide her throughout her life.
A proud graduate of Brunswick High School, Becky pursued a career as an account manager. Her professional journey was marked by dedication and excellence, but her true passion lay in music. As a gifted singer, she found joy and solace in performing with her gospel group, Glory Bound. Her voice was a beacon of hope and faith, touching the hearts of many and bringing communities together in celebration and worship.
In 1997, Becky married the love of her life, Cleveland Moore. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love, adventure, and companionship for over 20 years, until Cleveland's passing in 2020. Their union was blessed with two wonderful children, Tiffany Carter and Ray Bertholf, who were the pride and joy of Becky's life. Her role as a mother brought her immense happiness, and she cherished every moment spent nurturing and guiding her children.
Becky's humor was a defining characteristic that endeared her to all who knew her. Her infectious laughter and quick wit could light up the darkest of days, and she had an incredible ability to find joy in the simplest moments. Her family and friends will forever remember her as a beacon of light, whose spirit was as vibrant as the melodies she sang.
Becky is predeceased by her beloved husband, Daniel Moore, and is survived by her cherished children, Tiffany and Ray. As we gather to celebrate her life, we are reminded of the love and happiness she brought into our lives. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched, and her legacy will continue to inspire us.
In accordance with her wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Becky's life. The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude for the love and support extended to them during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, they kindly request that donations be made in Becky's memory to a charity of your choice, reflecting the kindness and generosity she embodied.
