Becky Harris
October 9, 1938 — September 23, 2026
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Becky Harris, a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many. Becky passed away peacefully on September 23, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness that will forever be remembered by those who knew her.
Born on October 9, 1938, in Fresno, California, Becky was the beloved daughter of Christopher and Linda Harris. From a young age, Becky’s life was a tapestry woven with the threads of love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to her family. As a homemaker, she embraced the joyful chaos of raising her children and keeping the household bustling with warmth and care, creating a haven filled with love and laughter.
Becky’s heart was as expansive as her love for her family. She was blessed with three grandchildren who brought immense pride and joy into her life, and she adored her great-grandchild, who was a light in her later years. Her home was always open, not only to her family but also to the many animals she lovingly fostered over the years. An avid animal lover, Becky had a special place in her heart for her furry companions, each one finding a sanctuary in her care.
Her wit was sharp, and her humor always present, bringing smiles and laughter to those around her. Becky had a gentle nature that made everyone feel at ease, and her kindness was felt by all who had the privilege to know her. She was a woman of many interests, finding joy in the quiet satisfaction of completing puzzles and the thrill of unraveling the mysteries of her favorite novels. Whether engrossed in a gripping mystery or lost in the pages of a romance novel, Becky found solace and adventure in her love of reading.
A woman of deep faith, Becky proudly embraced Judaism, becoming a devoted member of the Chabad Synagogue. For over 40 years, she was a treasured part of the community, offering her time and support with the same kindness and grace that defined her life.
In accordance with her wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Becky’s life. Her family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Chabad Synagogue or an animal shelter of your choice, in memory of Becky’s enduring love for her faith and her furry friends.
As we bid farewell to Becky, we hold her memory close, cherishing the laughter, love, and gentle spirit she shared with us all. Her legacy of kindness will continue to inspire and guide those she leaves behind.
