Barry Haskell

April 24, 1947 — June 4, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Barry Haskell, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who left this world peacefully at home on June 4, 2026, after bravely undergoing treatment for cancer. Barry was born on April 24, 1947, in the quaint town of Middleboro, Massachusetts, to loving parents Gordon and Gerry Haskell. He lived a life full of laughter, love, and dedication, leaving behind a legacy that will be cherished by all who knew him. Barry met the love of his life, Patricia, early on, and together they built a beautiful family, welcoming two wonderful daughters, Sarah and Kyle, into their world. Barry’s dedication to his family was evident in every aspect of his life. He was a devoted husband and a nurturing father, always available to offer guidance, support, and an encouraging word. His family was his greatest pride and joy, and this love extended to his precious grandchild, who brought a special sparkle to his eyes and a renewed sense of youthful joy into his life. In 1982, Barry opened the Sandwich Print Shop, a cornerstone of the community that flourished under his dedicated stewardship for over four decades. His commitment to quality service and customer satisfaction was unparalleled. The shop was not just a business to Barry; it was a place where relationships blossomed. Many of his customers became lifelong friends, drawn to his infectious smile, quick wit, and warm demeanor. Barry’s great sense of humor and readiness to help anyone in need made him a beloved figure in the community. His laughter was contagious, and his kindness knew no bounds. Barry was a man of deep integrity and compassion. He was always the first to lend a hand, whether it was to support a neighbor in need, volunteer at local events, or offer encouragement to someone facing difficult times. He had an innate ability to make everyone feel valued and special, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the fortune of crossing his path. He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia; his daughters, Sarah and Kyle; his cherished grandchild; and his siblings, Laurie, Doug, and Greg. Each of them will forever hold in their hearts the love and wisdom Barry shared with them, carrying forward his legacy of goodwill and laughter. As we remember Barry, we are reminded of the importance of kindness, community, and family. In his honor, the family requests that donations be made to the Department of Veteran Affairs, an organization close to Barry’s heart. Donations can be made online at https://www.cdceportal.va.gov/donate_online/. Barry Haskell’s life was a testament to the power of love and laughter. Though he may no longer walk among us, his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us. As we say goodbye, we do so with gratitude for the time we were fortunate enough to have shared with him. May his soul rest in peace, and may his memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved him.
