Baron MacKinley Robinson, also known to many as “Buck” was born on March 2, 1970, in Winston-Salem, passed away peacefully at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center on September 27, 2026, after a courageous fight with illness. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, whose life was marked by love, service, and laughter. Baron was the cherished youngest son of the late Mackey and Ella Robinson, and he carried forward their legacy of kindness and integrity. He is survived by his devoted wife, Catrice J. Robinson, with whom he shared 11 years of love and joy since their marriage on October 15, 2015. A proud father, Baron leaves behind his beloved children: daughters Chakoya Robinson, Aychate Robinson, and Cassandra Leake-Robinson; and sons Christopher Alford, Daronn (Tecole) Robinson, and Elijah Moses. His love also extended to his six grandchildren, Kawaii Medley, Aniyah Lowery, Jerry Owens, Loyalty Owens, Taron Robinson, and Damori Robinson, who were the lights of his life. He is also survived by his siblings: sisters Gloria Flynt, Sharon Robinson, Kimmela White, Sabrina Robinson, Natasha Robinson, and his older brother Mackey (Tawanna) Robinson. Baron's family also includes a host of nieces, nephews, and close friends who will dearly miss his presence. Baron graduated from Parkland High School in 1988 and went on to serve his country with pride. He was an active duty member of the US Army from 1989 to 1992, serving in Co. C 124th Sig EN at the rank of E4. His service was a testament to his courage and dedication. Known for his quick wit and warm smile, Baron had a unique gift for making everyone feel welcome and valued. He was always ready with a joke to lighten the mood, and his kindness and generosity touched countless lives. His ability to connect with others and his unwavering support made him a cherished friend to many. A service in memory of Baron Robinson will be held on October 10, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Clark S Brown & Sons Funeral Home, located at 727 Patterson Avenue, Winston-Salem, NC 27101-3030. Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate the life of a remarkable man who will be remembered for his love, laughter, and legacy. In lieu of flowers, donations in Baron’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice. His family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude for the support and love shown during this difficult time. Baron's life was a testament to the power of love and laughter. Though he has left this world, his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
