Barnard was the beloved son of the late Virgie Battile. He is now reunited in eternal peace with his mother, as well as his cherished siblings, Robert Battle and Jill Battile, who predeceased him.
Throughout his life, Barnard was a devoted and loving brother to his surviving sister, Rose Battile. He was also a cherished uncle, leaving behind a legacy of love and fond memories with his numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, who will forever remember his warmth, generous spirit, and unwavering support.
Barnard's life was marked by his dedication to his family and community. He was known for his gentle soul and his ability to bring joy and laughter to those around him. His compassion and kindness left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
In keeping with Barnard's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor his life and legacy. The family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Barnard, reflecting his generous spirit and lifelong commitment to helping others.
