Barbara Quigley McLamb

Barbara Quigley McLamb, a cherished member of the Oklahoma City community, passed away peacefully at the age of 54. Born on August 7, 1972, in Oklahoma City, Barbara was the beloved daughter of Ronald and Donna Quigley. She is predeceased by her father, Ronald, but leaves behind a loving family, including her mother, Donna, her devoted husband, Jeff McLamb, and two brothers, Ronnie and Jessie Quigley. Barbara's life was a testament to her kindness, dedication, and passion for helping others. She graduated from Grant High School in 1984 and embarked on a diverse career path, leaving a mark in every role she undertook. She worked as an optometrist assistant at Jones Eye Care, served as a secretary for C&H Trucking, and was the Secretary and Assistant Treasurer for Knob Hill Baptist Church, where she was also a charter member. Her commitment to her work and church was unwavering. A woman of deep faith and immense talent, Barbara was an active member of Knob Hill Baptist Church. Her love for music was evident in her involvement with the Church Praise Team, where her beautiful voice touched the hearts of many. She was a regular soloist at her home church and often shared her gift of song at Revivals and Conferences throughout the area, bringing joy and inspiration to all who heard her. Barbara's warmth and generosity extended beyond her career and musical talents. Her compassion and kindness were felt by everyone who knew her, and her legacy of love will continue to live on through the countless lives she touched. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Barbara's life at a memorial service on September 5, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Knob Hill Baptist Church, located at 2700 SW 59th, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, officiated by Pastor: Dr. Randall Marshall, and Evangelist A.R. Nelson. Following the service, the family will receive friends at a church-sponsored luncheon in the church gymnasium. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Barbara's memory to Knob Hill Baptist Church, reflecting her spirit of giving and compassion. Barbara will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
