Barbara Faye Jupiter-Johnson

It is with deep sorrow and profound love that we announce the passing of Barbara Faye Jupiter-Johnson, who left this world on October 7th, 2026. Born on June 23rd, 1961, in the warm embrace of Napoleonville, Louisiana, Barbara was a beacon of love, strength, and unwavering family devotion. Barbara was the beloved daughter of the late Dorothy Mae Carter-Jupiter and Medrick Jupiter, who predeceased her and whose cherished memories she held close to her heart throughout her life. She is survived by her devoted spouse, Bernard Johnson, and her loving children, Breana M. Jupiter and Bernard T. Jupiter. Her legacy continues through her treasured grandchildren, Kristy T. Jupiter and Bernard T. Jupiter Jr., who brought immense joy to her life. A graduate of Walter L. Cohen High School, Barbara was a woman of her word, with a particular passion for gardening and nurturing her home and loved ones. Her warm spirit made her garden a place of beauty and tranquility, much like the home she cultivated for her family. Barbara was a proud and faithful member of the King Solomon Missionary Baptist Church in Benecia, California, where her presence and faith were a testament to her enduring strength and commitment to her community. Her church family, alongside her siblings, including her dear sister Debra J. Batiste and a host of brothers, mourn the loss of a woman whose love and strength were ever-present. Those who knew Barbara will remember her as a woman who was unapologetically herself, outspoken and strong-willed, yet with a heart that overflowed with love. Her family was her world, and her love for them was a guiding light that never dimmed. Her honesty, loving spirit, and unforgettable personality have left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
