It is with heavy hearts yet profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of our beloved Barbara Diggins, who departed this earthly realm on June 11, 2026, at Moorefew Nursing Home. Born on October 26, 1936, in the quaint town of Eldorado Springs, Missouri, Barbara graced the world with her presence for nearly 90 years, leaving an indelible mark on all who were fortunate to know her.
Barbara was the cherished daughter of Harold and Francis Cadman, and she was fortunate to grow up in a loving family that instilled in her the values of kindness, resilience, and unwavering loyalty. These values guided her throughout her life, especially in her roles as a devoted wife and nurturing mother
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Diggins, with whom she shared many years of joy and companionship. Together, they created a life full of cherished memories, raising their family with love and dedication. Barbara also endured the heartache of losing her parents, her brother Gene Cadman, her sons Randy and Larry Fleener, and her grandson Justin Ryan Adams. Through these profound losses, her strength and grace remained unwavering, serving as an inspiration to her family and friends.
Barbara's legacy lives on in her surviving family members, who carry forward her spirit of love and compassion. Her daughter, Kathi Adams, and daughter-in-law, Martha Fleener, were the joys of her life, as were her extended family members Rodney (Wanda), Steve, Gary, and David Diggins. Barbara was also blessed with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren
Her family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the staff at Moorefew Nursing Home and Gentiva Hospice. Your compassionate and loving care for Barbara was a true blessing, providing comfort and solace during her final days.
