Barbara was a devoted sister to Mimi Banks and her husband, David Banks. Her nieces, Kimberly Spencer and Kelly Bailey, were blessed to have an aunt who showered them with love and wisdom. Though she did not have grandchildren or great-grandchildren, Barbara’s maternal spirit touched the lives of many, creating a legacy that will endure for generations.
Her commitment to service was evident in her active membership at Williamson’s Chapel United Methodist Church in Mooresville, NC. Barbara was a pillar of her church community, offering her time and talents to enrich the lives of others. Her dedication to charitable causes, particularly those supporting animal welfare, was a reflection of her boundless compassion and love for all living creatures.
