Born on August 30, 1948, in the vibrant heart of Manhattan, New York, Barbara graced the world with her presence, bringing warmth and inspiration to all who knew her. Barbara was the cherished daughter of Charles and Esteen (Orr) Williams, a family whose roots were deeply embedded in the spirit of New York City. She shared her early years with her beloved brothers, the late Calvin Williams, and surviving brothers Larry Williams and Carl Williams. Her parents and brother Steve Williams preceded her in death, and she was also predeceased by her devoted husband, Michael Tyler Clark, with whom she shared 32 beautiful years of marriage. Barbara and Michael's love story began on March 16, 1966, a union that blossomed into a family filled with laughter and love. Together, they nurtured three daughters, Angela Joy (and husband Ernest Taylor) of Omaha, Nebraska; Andrea Lynn (and husband Tony McGlothen) of Eastvale, California; and Alisa Kim (and husband Jimmy Walker) of Hampton, Virginia. Barbara's legacy lives on through her ten adoring grandchildren: Sarah and Taylor, William Michael Taylor, Kamilah Ann Magvalay-Walker, Kaliyah Ann McGlothen, Malik James-Michael Walker, Kalyssa Lynn Garcia, Nylah Lee Lardin, Tony Darnell McGlothen, and Aliyah Nicole Walker, as well as her great-grandchildren, Carter Liam Lardin, Mariah Simone Walker, and soon-to-be-born Lola Grace Magvalay-Walker. Her angel great-grandchildren, Naomi Walker, Jailyn Walker, Amir Walker, Nayeli, and Kaizen Magvalay-Walker, will forever hold a special place in her heart. A woman of remarkable talent and ambition, Barbara graduated from Washington Irving High School in New York City. She pursued her passion for creativity and business by completing studies at The Fashion Institute of Marketing and Advertisement in New York City, further honing her skills at Sawyer Business College in Los Angeles, California. Her career was defined by her flair for fashion and her keen business acumen, leaving an indelible mark on the industry and inspiring those around her. Barbara's life was a testament to her strength and grace. She faced her long illness with unwavering courage, never allowing it to diminish her spirit or the love she generously shared with her family and friends. Her home was a sanctuary of warmth, filled with laughter, music, and the aroma of her delicious cooking. She was a beacon of kindness, always ready with a listening ear and a comforting word. In honor of Barbara's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held, allowing her family and closest friends to celebrate her life and cherish the memories they shared with her. Though she has departed from this world, her legacy of love and resilience will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her. Barbara Ann Clark was a cherished daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Her life was a profound gift, and her memory will forever be a blessing to those she leaves behind. Though she has now found eternal peace, her light will continue to shine brightly in our hearts, guiding us with her enduring love and grace.
