Barbara A. Boyd, a cherished soul who embraced life with grace and compassion, peacefully departed this world on November 3, 2026, at Westminster Village in Muncie, Indiana. Born on October 9, 1936, in Indiana, Barbara lived a life that was a testament to love, resilience, and unwavering strength. Throughout her 90 years, Barbara was a beacon of warmth and kindness to all who knew her. Preceded in death by her loving parents William and Helen Hayes and her beloved husband, John Boyd, she carried their memories in her heart, honoring them through her deeds and care for others She is survived by her sons, Rich Pollett, Norm (Jo) Pollett, and stepson, Jim (Jenny) Boyd. Sister Marsha (Roger) Moore brothers Sam (Barb) Hayes and Tom (Jean) Hayes, Her nurturing spirit and gentle wisdom will continue to guide her nine grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren who were blessed to have experienced her boundless love. A woman of faith and quiet strength, Barbara found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was tending her garden, sharing stories over a cup of tea, or lending a listening ear to those in need. Her home was always a warm haven, filled with the laughter of family and friends. Barbara's family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Westminster Village and Heart to Heart Hospice for their compassionate and loving care. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Barbara's memory to a charity of their choice, reflecting her generous spirit and dedication to helping others. Services will be held at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Home 1341 N Baldwin Ave Marion, IN on Burial will be in Grant Memorial Park, Marion, IN Though Barbara has left this earthly realm, her spirit will forever illuminate the hearts of those she touched. She will be dearly missed, yet fondly remembered, as her legacy of love endures in the lives she forever changed.
