October 31, 1997 — May 3, 2026
Bailey Marie Bryce, a cherished daughter, devoted wife, nurturing mother, and compassionate nurse, entered her heavenly father's embrace on May 3, 2026, at the tender age of 28. Born on October 31, 1997, in Mexico, Bailey graced this world with her gentle spirit and left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
Bailey was the beloved daughter of Joshua and Haley Bryce, who instilled in her the values of kindness, empathy, and resilience. She shared a special bond with her Aunt Sarah and was preceded in death by her dear Uncle Robert, whose memory she cherished deeply.
On February 17, 2022, Bailey united in marriage with her high school sweetheart, Cole, embarking on a journey of love that would bring forth their greatest joys—Lily and Tyler. Bailey and Cole's story was one of shared dreams and unwavering support. Their daughter, Lily Bryce, was born on October 2, 2023, filling their lives with laughter and wonder. Their family grew with the arrival of their son, Tyler Bryce, on February 24, 2026, a blessing that Bailey embraced with all her heart.
Bailey's academic journey led her from Deer Creek High School, where she graduated in 2016, to Brigham Young University in Utah, where she pursued her passion for nursing. In 2020, she graduated with a nursing degree and began her career at Duke Health in North Carolina. Her dedication and compassion guided her path to becoming a labor and delivery nurse in 2024, where she touched countless lives with her gentle care and unwavering commitment.
An active member of The River Church in Durham, Bailey's faith was a cornerstone of her life, inspiring her to serve her community with love and humility. She found solace in nature, often embarking on hikes that rejuvenated her spirit. Her bright personality, soft-spoken voice, and heart of gold endeared her to many, leaving a legacy of love and kindness.
Bailey's journey was not without its struggles, as she bravely faced a silent battle with depression. Despite her challenges, she remained a beacon of light to those around her, offering comfort and understanding to others in their times of need.
As we gather to celebrate Bailey's life, we remember her for the joy she brought, the lives she touched, and the love she shared. Her legacy lives on through her children, Lily and Tyler, and the countless souls she nurtured throughout her life.
In this time of sorrow, we hold close the memories of Bailey's vibrant spirit and the love she so freely gave. May her soul find peace, and may we continue to honor her by living with the same kindness and compassion she embodied.
A memorial service will be held to celebrate Bailey's life, where family and friends will gather to share stories, offer prayers, and find comfort in each other's presence. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to mental health organizations, in honor of Bailey's life and her courageous battle.
Bailey Marie Bryce, you will forever remain in our hearts, your love a guiding light in our lives. Rest in peace, dear Bailey, knowing that you are deeply loved and missed.
