In Loving Memory

Bailey Lee vine
March 17, 2010 — May 9, 2026
It is with profound sadness and tender remembrance that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, sister, and friend, Bailey Lee Vine. Born on March 17, 2010, in the serene landscapes of Utah, Bailey departed from this world on May 9, 2026, at the tender age of 16. Her departure, while heartbreaking, was marked by courage and grace as she chose to leave on her own terms after a long, silent battle with depression.
Bailey was the cherished daughter of Joshua and Kyla Vine, who nurtured her with love and support throughout her life. She was also the treasured younger sister of Riley, whom she now joins in the peaceful embrace of eternity. The Vine family finds solace in the thought that both of their daughters are together, embraced by their Heavenly Father.
A sophomore at Holly Grove High School, Bailey was known for her bright personality and infectious smile that could light up even the darkest days. Her blonde hair and goofy personality left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She was a beacon of joy and hope, always ready to share a laugh or lend a helping hand to those in need.
Beyond her academic pursuits, Bailey was an active member of The River Church in Durham. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, guiding her through trials and triumphs alike. She found great comfort and strength in her church community, where she was cherished and loved.
Bailey had a passion for cheerleading, a sport that perfectly encapsulated her energetic spirit and zest for life. She loved spending time with her family and friends, creating memories full of laughter and love. Her life, though short, was filled with moments of joy and shared happiness.
In honoring Bailey's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to celebrate her life and the love she brought into the world. As her loved ones gather to remember her, they take comfort in knowing that Bailey is now safe in God's arms, reunited with her sister Riley, and enveloped in eternal peace and love.
In lieu of flowers, the Vine family kindly asks that donations be made in Bailey's memory to support mental health awareness and support for teenagers, so that her light may continue to shine in the lives of others.
Bailey Lee Vine's radiant spirit will forever remain in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. Though she has left this world, her legacy of love, laughter, and faith will endure, reminding us to cherish every moment and hold our loved ones close.
