B. Diane Rosch
January 8, 1941 — May 15, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of B. Diane Rosch, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, who left us on May 15, 2026, at her beloved home. Born on January 8, 1941, in the vibrant city of Chicago, Illinois, Diane was a beacon of warmth and love to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Diane was the treasured daughter of Sigurd and Sally Rasmussen (nee Ozmina). Her early years were filled with laughter and love alongside her brother, Donald Rasmussen, who predeceased her. The family was rooted in a close-knit community where Diane's spirited nature began to shine.
In 1963, Diane married the love of her life, Nicholas Rosch, in an intimate ceremony in Chicago. Together, they embarked on a journey of over 62 beautiful years, marked by unwavering love and partnership. Diane and Nicholas nurtured a family filled with affection and support, raising two children who were the center of her world.
Although Diane briefly attended Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, she found her true calling in dedicating her life to her family. Known affectionately as "Pam and Pat's Mom" (PPM), a title she cherished more than any other, Diane's commitment to her children was unparalleled.
Diane's life was enriched by the simple joys of playing cards with her mother and children and spending time at local bingo games or indulging in her love for slot machines. She was an avid fan of old movies, especially those she could enjoy with her family, bringing everyone together in shared moments of delight.
Her home was a sanctuary of laughter and love, echoing with her infectious laugh and sharp wit. Diane's presence could light up a room, and her fierce loyalty and support for her family and friends were hallmarks of her character. She never did anything halfway and always stood as a passionate advocate for those she held dear.
Diane is survived by her devoted husband, Nicholas Rosch; her son, Patrick Rosch, and his wife, Shaye; granddaughters Rylin and Brandy; and her great-granddaughter, Brittany. Her memory will also be cherished by longtime neighbors and dear friends, Sam and Jeanne Horton, along with countless other friends whose lives she touched.
A memorial service to honor Diane's incredible life will take place on May 28, 2026, at 10:00 AM, at Oakhaven Memorial Gardens, Claremore. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Diane's memory to The Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee, a cause close to her heart, at https://shop.elephants.com/give.
As we gather to celebrate Diane’s life, we remember her not only for her boundless love and dedication but also for her vibrant spirit that will continue to inspire all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will forever warm our hearts.
